(More customer reviews)Doing this puzzle was a joy. No missing pieces, which I was a little concerned about beforehand since Ravensburger does not offer replacements for missing pieces. This is because of their production process and the uniqueness of the pieces.
This is from the Ravensburger website:
"Do you replace individual puzzle pieces?
Unfortunately we cannot replace individual puzzle pieces. This is due to our unique manufacturing process. Our die-cutting tools are rebuilt manually by skilled tool makers after about every 60,000 puzzles we produce. Therefore every tool is different. Pieces from different tools will most likely not fit your puzzle.
Our quality standards are extremely high and every puzzle is checked for being complete before being packaged. In case you are missing a piece we sincerely apologize and will do our utmost to help."
Perhaps they would replace the entire puzzle, but if you are prone to misplacing a piece or two, consider Educa Puzzles instead. They apparently use the same generic cuts for each of their puzzles, so they can replace individual pieces.
All in all, this Ravensburger puzzle was fun to put together. Now onto gluing it and getting it up on the wall!
